The nearest Metrolink stops to the stadium are Old Trafford and Trafford Bar, with Exchange Quay and Salford Quays stops also within easy reach.
Over the summer, exciting improvement works have taken place on Manchester’s Metrolink network. This work is now complete and city centre connections have now been restored, making it easier for supporters travelling to Old Trafford.
Trams will resume running through St Peter’s Square, and will continue to do so for the next 10 months until the next phase of the works begin.
Although trams will now be running through the station, the stop itself will remain closed until the new one opens in Autumn 2016, so please keep this in mind when planning your journey.

Other Important Travel Information
Transport for Greater Manchester is currently undertaking some advance survey works for the proposed Trafford Park Line. This will involve some ground investigation works along the route in the Trafford Wharf Road, Village Way, Parkway Circle and Barton Dock Road areas.
This will involve a series of trial holes being carried out along the route each taking approximately one to two days to complete. This work will be carried out from mid October to early 2016. Please note that these investigations will generally be carried out between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Please also be aware that The East Lancs (A 580) is down to one lane at Moorgate Road in both directions, due to road works.
