Moto3™ Race Guide for the Valencia GP
Get all of the information you need in one place ahead of the Moto3™ race at the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana.
The 24-lap race at the Comunitat Valenciana - Ricardo Tormo circuit kicks off at 11:00 local time on Sunday:-
John McPhee is starting from pole for the second time in his grand
prix career. His previous pole was three weeks ago in Australia when he
was second fastest in qualifying but then got promoted to pole position
when fastest in qualifying Danny Kent received a grid penalty.

Romano Fenati is in second place on the grid, which is just the
fourth time in his grand prix career he has qualified on the front row.

Efren Vazquez takes the final place on the front row, equalling his previous best grid position of the year in Australia.

Heading the second row of the grid is Miguel Oliveira who has finished either first or second at the last five races.

Jorge Navarro, who has qualified in fifth place on the grid, has
been on the podium three times in the last four races having never
previously stood on a grand prix podium.

Championship leader Danny Kent, the winner of the Moto3™ race in
Valencia three years ago, has qualified down in 18th place on the grid.
Kent can clinch the world title by finishing 14th even if championship
rival Oliveira wins the race.
